Knowledge and Understanding of the World Week
Thank you to those that attended our India Exhibition on Friday 23rd June. It was lovely to see so many of you helping us to celebrate the end of our India themed week. The children loved showcasing their work and sharing all of their India Knowledge. It was amazing to see such a range of work across the year groups and chance to read about families from different cultures on the display boards from the Open Centre in Derby. Finally, thank you to the PTA for providing refreshments.

We're asking pupils to make a £1 donation, or whatever they can give, to help save childrens lives. You wont need to splash out on snazzy new jumpers to join in the fun! Create your own snazzy masterpiece and show the world your silly side by wearing your favourite festive knits for the day.

From previously working closely with Tesco, we have been given the opportunity to enter a drawing competition with them. They are promoting healthy eating and have asked us to design a poster on this theme. Local schools have been invited to enter the competition and we have taken up this opportunity to support an initiative in our local community. The children will complete their competition entry in school to win prizes and the chance to have the winning entry printed onto hessian bags.
